Freshman Benjamin Pearce led the Eagles in scoring this past weekend as Emory 1-1 on the road against UChicago and WashU. Pearce was one of three Eagles with 16 points or more in the team's come-from-behind win over the Maroons Friday night, finishing with a stat line of 16 pts, 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Pearce followed that performance with a 12-point outing, one of two Eagles, in double figures as Emory fell by one point to the UAA-leading Bears Sunday afternoon.
