Sophomore guard Ben Pearce carried the Eagles to two monumental home wins this weekend, helping Emory keep its NCAA postseason hopes alive. Pearce was unstoppable on Friday, scoring a career-high 32 points as Emory dropped WashU 89-76. Pearce followed that with a 19-point effort on Sunday as the Eagles handed Chicago an 88-82 defeat. To go along with his 25.5 scoring average across the two games, Pearce added averages of 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, while shooting at a 48.5% clip from the field, 5-for-12 from three and was 14-for-15 from the FT line.
