Junior Logan Shanahan averaged a double-double for the week as the Eagles went 3-0 with wins over Sewanee, Colby and Bates. Shanahan opened the week with a 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals effort as Emory reached the century mark on Tuesday in the home opener vs. the Tigers. Shanahan then proceeded to post back-to-back double-doubles as the Eagles collected neutral-court wins over their NESCAC counterparts. On Saturday, he went for 14 points and 10 rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting in 20 minutes as Emory blasted Colby by 30 points. In the quick turnaround, Shanahan ended his week with a dominant 21-point, 14-rebound effort Sunday afternoon vs. Bates and added two steals, two assists and a block. For the week, Shanahan averaged 16.7 points, 10.0 rebounds while leading the team with six steals and 63.6% from the floor.
