The Emory University men's soccer team dropped its second consecutive game with a 1-0 loss to Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH on Sunday morning. 

The Eagles record moved to 5-8-4 and 1-5 in UAA play as a result of their loss to the Spartans (9-3-3, 4-1-1 UAA) with one game left to play in the regular season.

A competitive contest that saw goalie Keirnan Skelly make five saves across the match was decided when the Spartans Jacob Salmon scored on a give and go shot into the lower left corner of the goal in the 60th minute. 

The Eagles had a few opportunities of their own throughout the match with an early shot on goal from senior Trey Rielly and two shots on goal in the second half from senior Alejandro Gomez and junior Alex Mills. One of the Eagles best attempts of the game came at the end of the second half on a blast from senior William Knight that knocked off the crossbar.

The Eagles will close the regular season at home on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00 AM where they will celebrate their seniors against Rochester.
