Freshman (2007-08):
During his freshman year, Perry competed in nine separate events for the Eagles. He earned all-UAA honors in the 200-yard butterfly, and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 200-yard individual medley, the 400-yard individual medley, and the 200-yard butterfly. He was the third-best performer on the squad in the 400-yard individual medley, and a top-five performer on the team in both the 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard butterfly. Perry was 14th on the squad with 153.25 points scored during the season.

Attended Northwood High School where he was a four-year letterwinner on the swimming and diving team, serving as the team's co-captain during his senior season... Named the school's Swimmer of the Year in 2006, and the Most Valuable Swimmer in 2007... Helped his team to a CIF Championship from 2003-04... Coached by Andrew Priest and Brian Pajer in high school... Competed in the USA Swimming Junior Nationals in 2006 and 2007.
