Senior Jake Meyer had a impressive weekend as he recorded three first place finishes and two additional top-three efforts to led the Eagles to a third place team finish at the Denison Invitational. In his two individual event wins, Meyer posted a pair of NCAA A Cuts as he swept the breaststroke events. In the 100, Meyer touched at 52.69 and in the 200, he came in at 1:55.69. Both times represented new PRs and are the fastest swam at the DIII level so far this season. As a member of the 400 Medley Relay, Meyer's breaststroke leg helped the Eagles win by over a second and a half with a winning time of 3:11.04 - the fastest time in the country this season and just .53 seconds shy of the DIII record. Meyer added a second place effort in the 200 Medley Relay with Emory clocking in at 1:25.95 - moving the Eagles into the nation's lead.
