Senior Will Wanner helped the Emory men's tennis team to a pair of wins in the opening rounds of the NCAA D-III Championships.
Wanner won a pair of doubles matches and a singles contest in helping the Eagles advance to their 21st straight appearances in the quarterfinals of the NCAA D-III Championships.
In a 5-0 decision over John Carroll, Wanner team with Alec Rabinowitz to post an 8-4 triumph over Doug Moore Andrew Triner at the No. 2 spot. In singles, Wanner blanked Grant Sarnowski, 6-0, 6-0. Wanner contributed to Emory's 5-0 third-round outcome over Babson with a victory at No. 2 doubles with Rabinowitz, 8-5, against Jason Weisman and Nicholas Garcia.
