Men’s Tennis Dominates George Fox, Wins 4-0

The Emory University men's tennis team shutout the George Fox Bruins on Saturday afternoon at the Stag-Hen tournament in Claremont, California.

The Eagles record their eighth win of the season and hand the Bruins their fifth loss on the year.

In doubles, graduate student Charlie James and junior Ryan Glanville continue their dominant streak taking the first doubles match 6-2. On court two, freshman Dean Kamenev and senior Andrew Esses cruised to a 6-1 decision to take the second match of doubles and give Emory the doubles point.

In singles, Esses took the first win for the Eagles with his 6-3, 6-1 victory. Junior Nolan Shah followed with a 6-2, 6-1 decision on court two. James was able to secure the win for Emory with a 6-3, 6-4 win in the fourth position. Kamenev, junior Brandon Cohen, and sophomore Emilio Van Cotthem were all winning their matches before they were left unfinished in the end.
