The Emory University men's tennis team rounded out its home match slate on Sunday, defeating SCAD Atlanta by an 8-1 margin on Senior Day.
Prior to the start of the match the Eagles honored their graduating class of Andrew Esses, Charlie James, William Coupe and Daniel Sanz with a special on-court ceremony.
Esses and James teamed up for the first time season for an 8-2 win on court one while SCAD edged out Emory's other senior duo of Coupe/Sanz 8-6 on court two.
In singles, the Eagles saw four matches won in straight sets with Esses winning 6-4, 6-2 on court one and Coupe winning 6-0, 6-0 at the fourth spot. Junior Nolan Shah returned to the lineup for a 6-4, 6-4 decision at the second line while freshman Dean Kamenev was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at third singles.
Due to SCAD's roster size, Emory earned the remaining points due to match forfeits.
The Eagles look to wrap up the regular season on Tuesday with a road match at Tennessee Wesleyan at 2:30 PM.
