Dean Kamenev, just a sophomore, came home with two plaques from the ITA South Regional. Kamenev won the doubles championship alongside teammate Nolan Shah, dropping just two sets along the way. Kamenev also impressed in singles play, reaching the finals in the main draw. The sophomore knocked off Shah, fellow-Eagle and returning regional singles champion, in the semifinals to reach the final match. He pushed the tournament's No. 1 seeded player in the finals, but ultimately came up short and brought home a runner-up plaque in singles play.
