Senior outfielder Jenna Wilson helped the Emory softball team to a 5-1 record over a six-game stretch.

Wilson tied for the team lead with a hitting mark of .450 (9-of-20) with her hit total tying for the team lead. In addition, she topped the squad with six runs scored, tied for first with six RBIs and went five-for-five in the stolen base department. She hit safely in five of the six contests and recorded a pair of multi-RBI performances.

In a 9-2 victory over Piedmont in the second game of a twinbill, Wilson collected four safeties in as many at-bats with one run scored and one RBI. On of her hits was a lead off triple in the third, whereupon she later scored, giving the Eagles a 4-0 advantage. In the opener of a doubleheader vs. Covenant College, Wilson scored a pair of runs and followed that by knocking in three runs in the nightcap which Emory won by an 11-7 count. She closed out the weekend by going a combined 3-for-7 with two runs scored in a sweep of a doubleheader vs. LaGrange.

On the year, Jenna is hitting .425 (17-for-40) and is No. 2 on the team's score sheet with 13 runs scored.
