In the two games Emory played this past week, senior Mattie Ryan picked up the win in both as she started and finished the first game and came in as a relief pitcher for the Eagles in the second game. Ryan gave up just two earned runs in 6.2 innings pitched good for a 2.10 ERA. In game one, Ryan pitched a complete game and struck out three batters while giving up just one walk to help Emory earn a resounding 10-2 victory. In game two, Ryan came in to the game in the top of the sixth inning with the Eagles trailing 6-2 and didn't give up a single earned run and was pivotal in helping lead Emory to their come from behind victory. She struck out two batters and gave up a single hit in her 1.2 innings of work in game two. Ryan also combined to hit 5-for-6 at the plate over the two games for four runs and one RBI.
