In the two games Emory played this week, senior Mattie Ryan picked up wins for her performance in the circle in both of them. Ryan was responsible for all 15 outs in the Eagles first game against Webster as she gave up no runs on just three hits to help the Eagles earn a dominant 11-1 win in just five innings. Ryan came in for relief in the second game with the Eagles trailing by one and allowed just one hit and no earned runs to help propel Emory to victory in extra innings against the Gorloks. On top of her pitching prowess, Ryan was also unstoppable at the plate putting up three hits in both games with all three of her hits in the second game being extra-base hits. Ryan finished her weekend with four RBI and two runs in a dominant display of power in the batter's box.
