Register For Birdies, Bogies and Basketball Fundraiser
The Emory women's basketball team will hold a 'Birdies, Bogies And Basketball' golf outing as a fundraiser to enhance opportunities for the program with the priority focusing on the team's upcoming foreign tour to Italy in August.
The outing will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 26th at the Country Club of Gwinnett (Snellville).

The cost to play is $150 per golfer and includes a golf cart, lunch, driving range access with balls and a gift bag that includes a polo. In addition, a complimentary reception will be held as well as a silent auction of great items and packages.
The Eagles posted a won-lost ledger of 18-7 last year, the program's most successful season since 1996-97. Emory compiled a 9-5 record in the University Athletic Association, good for third place, with its win total in league play the highest since 1998.
"We are looking forward to a great day of golf and fun while at the same time generating both interest and support for the program," head women's basketball coach Christy Thomaskutty said. "The more immediate goal of the foreign tour will be a great learning opportunity for our players, both on and off the court. To experience a foreign culture is a once-in-lifetime endeavor for these young ladies that will have a lasting impact on their lives."
