Sophomore Sophia Garcia made a total of 14 saves, including a career-best eight stops, in the NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds for the Eagles. Garcia delivered six saves in regulation and overtime on Saturday and added a big save in PKs as Emory upset Mary Hardin-Baylor on its own pitch. On Sunday, Garcia posted eight saves against Hardin-Simmons as well as one in the penalty shootout as the Eagles were eliminated in the second round.
