Jordan DoakWomen's Soccer Junior Jordan Doak registered the game-winning goal in Emory's Labor Day 4-0 win at Pfeiffer University, breaking a scoreless contest early in the second half. She finished the weekend third on the team in shots (4) and shots on goal (3). Doak was also a key figure of the Emory defensive unit that allowed just a single goal on nine shots on target across the two games over the holiday weekend. Read More
Abbe McCarterWomen's Soccer Junior Abbe McCarter scored her first career game-winner with one minute remaining in regulation to give Emory a season opening win at Georgia Gwinnett. She added an assist in Monday's 4-0 win at Pfeiffer University to finish tied for the team lead with three points. She added team-highs in shots (7) and shots on goal (5). Read More
Kaitlyn DorkaWomen's Soccer Junior Kaitlyn Dorka netted the equalizer in the 64th minute to help Emory tie University of Rochester 2-2 on Saturday night, the Eagles third consecutive draw in UAA action. The goal was Dorka's second of the season. Read More
Shivani BeallWomen's Soccer Freshman Shivani Beall had a team-high six points this past week as the Eagles went 1-0-2. On Tuesday, Beall recorded a career-best five points with the first two-goal game of her career as Emory shutout Division II Brevard College 5-0. Beall added an assist on Emory's game-tying goal in the 76th minute against NYU on Sunday, helping the Eagles to their second straight 1-1 tie against a UAA foe. The two assists extended Beall's team lead to seven, tying her for second place in the UAA in that category. Read More
Jordan DoakWomen's Soccer Sophomore Jordan Doak helped the Emory defense limit opposing teams to just two goals and an average of 8.6 shots per game as the Eagles went 1-0-2 this past week. On the offensive end, Doak registered a career-best three points including the first tally of her career as Emory blanked Division II Brevard College 5-0 on Tuesday night and over the weekend, she finished with six shots with a career-high four shots on goal at NYU on Sunday. In the three contests, Doak had eight shots total and tied for the team lead with five shots on goal. Read More
Cristina RamirezWomen's Soccer Senior Cristina Ramirez tied for the team-lead over the weekend, finishing with five points as the Eagles went 1-1 in a pair of UAA contests. All five points came on Friday evening when Ramirez posted her best performance of the year in a 4-0 win over Case Western Reserve. She scored two goals, including the game-winner and added an assist. Read More
Morgan BrandewieWomen's Soccer Freshman Morgan Brandewie netted her first career goal on Saturday against 15th-ranked WashU, finishing the week tied for the team lead with two points. Brandewie also aided in helping the Eagles posting their fifth shutout of the season as Emory held Sewanee to just three shots on Tuesday night. Read More
Sophia DillonWomen's Soccer Sophomore Sophia Dillon scored the game-winning goal in the 69th minute as the Eagles defeated Sewanee 1-0 on Tuesday for the team's fifth straight victory. With the goal, Dillon moved into a tie for the team lead in goals with three on the year. Read More
Nikki BattWomen's Soccer Sophomore Nikki Batt helped the Emory Women's Soccer team limit the #4 University of Chicago to just nine shots total, two on goal, in the Eagles' 2-0 victory over the Maroons on Saturday. Both shot totals represented season-lows for Chicago this season. Batt also added an assist on Emory's game-winner goal as she found a sliding Ramirez inside the six with a great ball through traffic. Read More
Cristina RamirezWomen's Soccer Senior Cristina Ramirez found the back of the net in the 22nd minute to break a scoreless tie against the University of Chicago on Saturday. Her goal acted as the game-winner as the Eagles knocked off the fourth-ranked Maroons, 2-0, for the team's fourth consecutive victory. Ramirez finished the game with a game-high six shots. Read More
Danielle DariusWomen's Soccer Sophomore Danielle Darius scored just 1:13 minutes into overtime to give the Emory Eagles a 3-2 victory over Berry College on Wednesday evening. Darius added an assist in the win over the Vikings to finish tied for the team-lead with three points during the week. She also played an integral part on defense in Emory's 2-1 double overtime over #23 Centre, helping to limit the Colonels to just seven total shots in the game. Read More
Caroline KolskiWomen's Soccer Freshman Caroline Kolski scored 2:56 minutes into the second overtime period to give the Eagles a come-from-behind victory over #23 Centre on Sunday afternoon, handing the Colonels their first regular season loss in over a year. Kolski finished the week tied for second on the team with three shots on goal and third with seven total shots. Read More
Grace EdgartonWomen's Soccer Sophomore Grace Edgarton scored her team-leading third goal of the season in Emory's 4-0 win over Birmingham-Southern on Friday night. Edgarton finished second on the team with three shots in the victory. Read More
Madison PhaneufWomen's Soccer Sophomore Madison Phaneuf scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in the Eagles' 4-0 win over Birmingham-Southern on Friday night. Phaneuf also helped the Emory defensive unit limit the Panthers to just one shot in the contest. Read More
Anna GurneyWomen's Soccer Junior Anna Gurney started all three games for the Eagles this past week and finished the slate of games tied for the team lead with five points on the strength of two goals and one assist. She scored the second goal of the game in Emory's blowout win over Averett on Thursday and added the game-winning goal and an assist in the Eagles' 3-0 win over Redlands on Monday. Read More
Hannah MeyerWomen's Soccer Senior Hannah Meyer anchored the Emory defensive unit to a pair of wins this past week and tallied her first point of the season, assisting on the Eagles' lone goal in a loss to Cal Lutheran. In the two victories, Meyer and the Eagles defense allowed just two shots total (one in each contest) with neither shot being on goal. Read More
