Prior to Emory:
Swam for Westfield High School for four years, serving as the team captain during her senior year... Was a NISCA All-American in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 2010... Named the Union County Swimmer of the Year in 2009... Helped her team to State Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2010... Swam career-best times of 2:10.79 in the 200 IM, 51.98 seconds in the 100 free, and 23.91 seconds in the 50 free... Coached in high school by Brooke Smith, and by Brian Guidera on her club team... A USA Swimming Academic All-American from 2008-10.
