Freshman Caroline Maki claimed one of Emory's two event wins at the Denison Invitational, helping the Eagles to a third place team finish. Her event victory came on Saturday in the 100 Freestyle as she posted a winning and NCAA B Cut time of 50.47. Maki added NCAA qualifying times in the 50 Freestyle (6th - 23.63) and as part of the 200 Freestyle Relay (2nd - 1:32.13), 400 Freestyle Relay (2nd - 3:23.17), 400 Medley Relay (6th - 3:47.63) and 200 Medley Relay (5th - 1:44.85). Maki also competed in the 100 Butterfly, taking 14th at 56.85 (56.84 in prelims) and in the 100 Backstroke, placing 21st at 58.48.
