Senior Penelope Helm led the Eagles to a team win this weekend at the annual Emory Fall Invitational, recording four top-four finishes including a win in the 500 Freestyle and was part of the winning 400 Medley Relay. Helm touched first in the 500 Free on Friday with a time of 4:56.51 before adding second place efforts in the 50 Free (24.00) and 200 Free (1:52.04) on Saturday. Furthermore, she was fourth in the 100 Free (52.05) on day one. Following the weekend, Helm stands second in DIII in the 500 Free, third nationally in the 200 Free and eighth in both the 50 and 100. Helm added performances in three relay events, assisting the Eagles to a win in the 400 Medley (3:46.51) as well as a second place finish in the 400 Freestyle (3:28.16) and fourth in the 200 Freestyle (1:36.15).
