Sophomore Iris Berman was a major factor in Emory's two top-10 wins this past weekend. She started the week on Monday against No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer winning her singles match 6-1, 6-0 before winning her singles match against No. 10 ranked Redlands with a 6-0, 6-4 decision to help Emory take a 4-1 lead in the match. She finished the week with a 6-1, 6-1 victory in singles against No. 4 ranked Middlebury on Saturday. Berman has won seven of her eight singles matches this spring with six of those coming against ranked teams.
