Sophomore Emily Kantrovitz won her first ITA South Regional singles title on Sunday afternoon after defeating fellow teammate and doubles partner Ana Cristina Perez in the championship match. Kantrovitz started the tournament on Friday quickly earning two wins in straight sets before completing the same feat on Saturday afternoon to earn a spot in the semifinals. She defeated fellow teammate Alyssa Margolin in the semifinals to earn her spot in the finals before earning the championship with a 6-1, 6-4 decision.
