Senior Annika Urban cemented her Emory and NCAA legacy on Saturday as she became the first Eagle to win an indoor national championship in program history. Urban ran a NCAA Championship record time of 4:43.17 to win the mile title before returning to the track less than two hours later to finish third in the 3000m run at 9:32.05, the highest finish by an Eagle in the event in team history. Her two All-America performances carries Emory to a 12th place finish at the NCAA Championships - the third-best finish at indoor NCAAs in team history.
