Freshman (2011): Played in 11 matches during her rookie campaign and logged
a total of 23 sets of action ... Averaged 2.57 kills per set and
posted a .260 attack percentage (59-21--146) ... Came through with
four matches of double-figure kills including a season-high
12-kills performance that led the team in in a 3-1 victory over
Martin-Methodist (Sept. 24) ... Played two sets and chalked up a
team-leading 11 terminations, along with seven digs in a 3-0
triumph over Pomona-Pitzer ... Hit .450 and was second on the club
with 11 kills vs. Brandeis (Oct. 16) ... Registeted a season-high
eight digs vs. Hanover (Sept. 3) ... Team leader in kills on three
occasions.
High School:
Four-year member of the King High School volleyball program where
she was coached by Glenn Jacobs ... Two-time member of the
All-South Texas First Team ... As a senior, she helped the Mustangs
to an overall record of 45-4 that included a spot in the semifinals
of the 5A State Tournament ... King finished the year ranked 11th
in the state and 49th nationally ... Recorded 282 kills and 92
total blocks her final campaign ... First Team All-District ...
Named as the 2009 All-South Texas Newcomer of the Year ... Played
club for the CC Waves 17's & 18's where she was coached by
Tasha Wilson ... Also competed on her high school's tennis and
swimming teams.
