Graduate student Brigid Hanley capped off her stellar season with Emory cross country with an eighth place individual finish at the NCAA National Championships this past weekend. Hanley's performance was the third-best in program history, behind just Annika Urban's sixth place finish in 2022 and Vista Beasley's third place finish in 1997. Her performance garnered All-America status as well. Hanley played a key role in boosting the team to an eighth place finish, which is tied for the second-best finish in program history at the NCAA National Championships. Just the 1997 team posted a better overall finish when it placed seventh at the event.
