Emory Softball Athletes Of The Week

Sophomore catcher Micah Scharff posted a batting average of .438 for the Eagles at the NCAA Division III Salem, Virginia, Regional.

Sophomore Micah Scharff hit .500 in helping the No. 3-ranked Emory softball team to a split of a doubleheader at LaGrange College.

Junior Ally Kersthold hit .625 in a doubleheader split at No. 11-ranked Piedmont.

Megan Light hit .625 in helping Emory to three victories and boosting its win streak to 18 games at the Salute To the Troops Tournament hosted by Rhodes College.

Sophomore Micah Scharff helped the No. 2-ranked Eagles' softball team to a pair of wins over Covenant College.

Hannah Sendel helped the Eagles to a first-place finish at the UAA Softball Championships.

Freshman outfielder Alyssa Pollard hit a team-high .769 (10-for-13) in helping the No. 13 Eagles to four wins at the 3N2 Elite Event on the Emory campus.

Junior Amanda Kardys picked up all three of the team's wins at the 3N2 Invitational this past weekend at the Emory Softball Field.

Junior Megan Light hit a solid .556 (5-for-9), hit a pair of homers and led the Emory softball squad in runs (4) and RBIs (6) in helping the Eagles to four wins that raised the team's record to 8-0.
