2014 Emory Volleyball Players Of The Week

Senior outside hitter Leah Jacobs was one of two Emory players to earn a spot on the NCAA Volleyball Championships All-Tournament Team.

Sophomore Sarah Maher captured MVP honors after helping the No. 5-ranked Eagles to a championship performance at the St. Louis Regional of the NCAA D-III Volleyball Tournament.

Sophomore Jessica Holler contributed outstanding offensive and defensive play in helping the No. 6-ranked Eagles to the UAA Championship, the program’s fourth title in the past six seasons.

Senior Kate Bowman came through with stellar play from her libero post in helping the No. 6-ranked Eagles' volleyball team to a 4-0 week.

Sophomore Jessica Holler helped the Eagles to a 4-1 week that left the No. 3 Eagles' overall record at 27-3, including a 6-1 won-lost ledger in the University Athletic Association.

Sophomore Kathryn Trinka helped the No. 3-ranked volleyball team to a road win at Lee University on Oct. 8.

Senior Leah Jacobs helped the No. 3-ranked Eagles' volleyball team to a 3-0 record at the UAA Round Robin I.

Junior Sydney Miles earned all-tournament honors at the Elmhurst Invitational where her solid all-around play helped the Eagles to a 3-1 record.

Senior libero Kate Bowman turned in some outstanding defensive play over the weekend in helping the No. 4-ranked Eagles volleyball team to a 4-0 record at the Emory Classic.

Senior outside hitter Leah Jacobs earned a berth on the Berry College Invitational All-Tournament Team after helping the Eagles to a 3-1 record.
