Senior Kate Bowman came through with stellar play from her
libero post in helping the No. 6-ranked Eagles to a 4-0 week.
Bowman played in all 13 of the team's sets and averaged a
team-high 4.38 digs per game, leading Emory in that category in all
four outings, and helped limit the opposition to just a .111
hitting percentage. She was named the MVP of the Emory
National Invitational after averaging 4.6 digs per set with her
play being a vital factor in the three opponents hitting just .136
...One of her outings was a match-high 23 digs, five-assists effort
in a 3-1 decision over UMASS Boston.
Bowman moved into the No. 2 spot on the program's all-time list
with 1,313 digs and this season's total of 528 is the sixth-highest
yearly mark in school history.
