Emory Track & Field to Host Home Invitational

The Emory University Track and Field programs will host the annual Emory Invitational at the Woodruff PE Center on Friday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 24th.

The meet is set to start at 2:00 PM on Friday with the field events, beginning with the men's and women's high jump and hammer throw. On Saturday, competition kicks off at 8:00 AM with the women's 5000m Run C-Section and will run throughout the day until the men's and women's 4x400m Relay at 4:55 PM and 5:10 PM. 29 schools are set to send at least one student-athlete to compete alongside the Eagles on Sunday: Albany State, Allegheny, Augusta, Berry, Birmingham-Southern, Cedarville, Clark Atlanta, Clayton State, Colby, Columbus State, Covenant, Emmanuel, Fisk, Fort Valley State, Hope, Indiana East, Kentucky State, Life, North Georgia, Oglethorpe, Point University, SCAD Atlanta, Tennessee Wesleyan, Truett-McConnell, Chattanooga, Valdosta State, West Georgia, Wilmington (Ohio), and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

At last year's meet, the Emory women were fourth at their home invitational out of 35 schools while the men placed seventh in a field of 33.
