Hancock makes her first appearance on the Academic All-District Team after leading the women's swimming & diving team to a NCAA runner-up finish at this year's national championships. Hancock was an All-American in all three individual events she competed in, placing second in the 200 Butterfly, fourth in the 400 IM and sixth in the 200 IM and adding an All-America finish as part of the Eagles 800 Freestyle Relay. In her career, Hancock was nine-time All-American and two-time All-America Honorable Mention. The owner of a perfect 4.0 GPA as a double major in chemistry and anthropology, she became the second-ever recipient of the NCAA Elite 90 Award in Emory history.

Bumgarner earns Academic All-District distinction after establishing himself as one of the top divers in the country across his first three seasons and helping the men to their second-ever national championship. This year, Bumgarner finished as the national runner-up in the 3-meter and was third in the 1-meter. He was named the UAA Diver of the Year for a third time after sweeping both events at the UAA Championships and is currently the record holder in every diving event in Emory history. He is a six-time All-American across his career and was the national runner-up in the 1-meter at the 2019 national meet.

Hamilton joins his swimming & diving teammates as first-time Academic All-District selections after leading the Eagles to the team title this past spring. Hamilton was a two-time national champion at this year's national meet, winning the 200 Breaststroke for the second consecutive time and was part of the team's record-breaking 800 Freestyle Relay. In his career, Hamilton is a nine-time All-American and owns the second fastest time in the 200 Breaststroke in NCAA history. Earlier this fall, he was one of 11 Eagles chosen as Emory 100 Senior Honorary recipients along with Hancock.
