Tristan Reaves joined the Emory Athletics as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in March of 2021. In July of 2022, he switched full-time roles and moved to Eagle Edge as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Success Programs while continue to contribute to the strength and conditioning efforts of the department.

Reaves came to Emory after serving as an intern for the Northern Illinois University Strength and Conditioning program where he worked with Olympic Sports. He has also trained and coached in the private sector.

Tristan earned his bachelor’s (2017) and master’s degrees (2019) from the University of Central Florida in Sports and Exercise Science.  While at UCF Reaves was a member of the highly successful football team, earning a scholarship his junior year.  He was part of a program that appeared in four bowl games including the 2018 Peach Bowl that saw the Knights defeat Auburn University, 34-27. In addition, he garnered American Conference All-Academic honors on two occasions.

A native of Saint Cloud, Florida, he is the Co-Founder of WalkOn Nation, where he works with student-athletes from across the country, using their platform to develop and empower through a holistic approach.  

Reaves is CSCS, CPR/AED and TRX certified.
