Senior (2005):

Barrett earned his first appearance on the all-conference first team, after being named to the second team in 2004. The senior center fielder led the Eagles in hits and steals this season. He finished with 94 steals for his career, a new Emory record. His 32 steals this year were the seventh most in the nation this season, according to the final NCAA statistical report. Barrett earned the team award for Best Defensive Player, committing only two errors on the season -- both in the same game -- and leading all outfielders with 84 putouts. In his four-year career, Barrett compiled a .338 batting average, tied for 16th in the program's history.

Junior (2004):

In his first year as a full-time starter, Barrett set career highs in most major offensive categories and was named second team all-region and second team all-conference. Barrett finished fourth in the nation for most stolen bases. His 50 steals set an Emory season record, besting the previous mark by 20 steals. Barrett's 19 multi-hit games was third on the team in 2004, and on March 31 against LaGrange (Ga.), he went 5-for-5 with four stolen bases and three runs scored. Those five hits and four steals each tied an Emory single-game record. Three times Barrett was named UAA Player of the Week: March 29, April 19 and May 10. No other Eagle was honored more than twice.

Sophomore (2003):

Barret started in 21 of 40 games played for the Eagles. Hit .315 with 23 runs scored and 14 RBI. He stole 11 bases in 15 attempts. He had two three-hit games during the NCAA regional tournament and was named to the all-tournament team.

Freshman (2002):

Barret started two of eight games played for the Eagles. He hit .286 with three RBI, scoring three runs and stealing one base.
