Senior (2007):

Sotiriou became the everyday centerfielder for the Eagles in 2007, setting career highs with 42 games started and 52 games played.  He finished the season with a .280 batting average, and career bests in runs (27), hits (40), doubles (eight), home runs (two), and runs batted in (20).  Sotiriou tied his career best with nine stolen bases during the season, and finished his career with 28 total stolen bases.  He played solid defense during the season, making a number of spectacular catches in centerfield while committing just one error for a .986 fielding percentage during the season.  On April 15th, Sotiriou went two-for-five against Rhodes College (Tenn.) with a grand slam and a triple, along with five runs batted in.  He finishes his Emory career with a .276 batting average, three home runs, 72 runs scored and 40 RBIs in 156 games.   

Junior (2006):

Sotiriou played in 35 games for the blue and gold, starting 18.  He batted .317 on the season, while recording 20 hits.  He also finished with 16 runs scored and eight RBI.  Against Maryville College (Tenn.) on March 4, Sotiriou batted .455, going 2-2 at the plate as he scoring three runs and recording one RBI.  Against Heidelberg College (Ohio) on March 11 he was 2-3 with two RBI and one run scored.

Sophomore (2005):

Junior outfielder was fourth on the team in walks and fifth in on base percentage. Hit a home run March 14 versus Case Western Reserve University (Ohio). February 26 against York College (Pa.), went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, one RBI and a stolen base.

Freshman (2004):

A frequent pinch runner, Sotirou scored 13 runs in 38 games and stole five bases in six attempts. He walked five times and had an on-base percentage of .381.

Played for four years on the West High School baseball team, serving as the captain his senior year... Was a second-team all-state player and a first-team all-region player in 2000 and 2002... Hit .500 his sophomore year in high school, and .430 his senior season... Also played basketball in high school.
