Sophomore (2010):

Vaughn played in 16 games for Emory in 2010, batting .192 (five-for-26) with three runs batted in and four runs scored.  He made seven starts, with five coming at first base, and the other two as the designated hitter.  Vaughn added on six walks and two stolen bases during the year as well.  He drove in a season-best two runs against Washington University (Mo.) on March 9th.  Vaughn also pitched a third of an inning against Huntingdon College on April 17th, retiring the only batter he faced.

Freshman (2009):

Vaughn appeared in 12 games for the Eagles during the 2009 season, making three starts.  The first baseman hit .308 (four-for-13) with two RBIs and a run scored.  Vaughn also made one appearance as a pitcher, throwing two innings against Millsaps College on February 27th, striking out four batters and allowing a run on two hits.

Played on the Houston Christian High School baseball team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior seasons... Helped his squad to two Texas State Championships, and three regional championships...Named to the all-district first team in 2008, and the second team in 2007... Named a Houston Area Baseball All-Star in 2008... Coached by Ron Mathis... Also played football in high school.
