Emory University first baseman Ryan Jones hit .615 (eight-for-13) with four doubles, four RBIs and four runs scored during three games last week. During a 13-6 win at eighth-ranked Birmingham Southern College on Wednesday, Jones went two-for-five with two runs scored, an RBI and a double, including a go-ahead RBI single in the second inning. Against Hendrix College on Friday, he matched a season-high with four hits in five at bats, including two doubles and an RBI, leading Emory to a 9-5 win. During a 7-2 win on Saturday over Hendrix, Jones was two-for-three with a run scored and two RBIs, as the senior picked up a key two-RBI double in the sixth inning. He finished the week with a .317 batting average and 25 runs batted in, and leads all Emory players this season with 15 doubles. Jones has helped Emory to four-straight wins and a 21-10 overall record in 2011.
