Emory University freshman pitcher Matt McMahon was 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA over seven innings pitched during two relief efforts last week.  McMahon held Oglethorpe University scoreless over four and a third innings of relief work, giving up just two hits and a walk, and striking out three batters.  He earned the victory in the game as part of the 13-9 Emory win.  On Saturday, during a 6-3 loss to Berry College, McMahon pitched two and two thirds innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks, while striking out three batters.  This season, the right hander has an ERA of 2.47 and a 4-2 record, helping Emory to a 25-14 mark on the season.
