Sophomore (2012):

Edwards appeared in four games for the Eagles in 2012, making two starts and allowing four hits.  He made his second start of the season during the UAA Tournament against Case Western Reserve University on March 18th, pitching a scoreless inning.  Emory was 3-1 in games that Edwards appeared in during his sophomore season.

Freshman (2011):

Edwards appeared in 11 games during his freshman season for the Eagles, including three starts.  He finished the year with a 1-1 record and a 6.38 ERA, while striking out 15 batters in 24 innings pitched and holding opponents to a .283 batting average.  His best start of the season came against York College (Pa.), when he did not allow an earned run on five hits over six  innings pitched, en route to his first collegiate victory.  Edwards also pitched two hitless, shutout innings against LaGrange College on February 23rd, and a scoreless and hitless inning and a third at Birmingham-Southern College on March 30th.  Right-handed batters hit just .247 (18-for-70) against Edwards during the year, and he held opponents to a .250 batting average (9-for-36) with the bases empty.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the East Coweta High School baseball team for two seasons... Recorded a 1.40 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 15 innings during his junior year, and a 0.50 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 20 innings during his senior campaign... Coached by Frank Deloach in high school.
