Junior (2012);

Iturrey was named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Second Team for his performance during his junior campaign.  Playing in all 40 of Emory's games last season and making 39 starts, Iturrey finished the season ranked fourth among all Division III players in walks (42) and walks per game (1.05), and 28th in on-base percentage (.509).  His on-base percentage in 2012 was the eighth-best single-season mark in the program's history, and his .497 career on-base percentage ranks fourth in school history.  Iturrey ended the year tied for the team lead with two home runs, and was second on the team with a .339 batting average and 33 RBIs, in addition to stealing eight bases on 10 attempts.  He reached base in 36 of Emory's 40 games during the season.  During a three-game series against Piedmont College from March 31st through April 1st, Iturrey went seven-for-18 (.389) with two home runs, eight RBIs and seven runs scored, including a grand slam in the second game of a doubleheader on April 1st.  He was second on the squad with eight multiple RBI games during the season and third on the team with 14 multiple hit games.  Iturrey was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on April 2nd.

Sophomore (2011):

Iturrey hit .326 with 23 runs batted in during his first season as an Eagle, which included 35 games and 27 starts.  He finished the year ranked 33rd among Division III players with five triples (tied for the sixth-most in a single season in school history) and 0.14 triples per game, 138th with a 0.479 on base percentage, 85th with 0.71 walks per game, and 131st with 25 walks.  Iturrey was also a perfect seven-for-seven in stolen base attempts during the year.  He picked up a season-high three hits against Piedmont College on March 25th, going three-for-three with four RBIs, a walk, a triple, and a stolen base.  The outfielder was also two-for-five with three RBIs and a triple against Hendrix College on April 1st.  Iturrey hit .340 (17-for-50) with runners on base, .391 (9-for-23) when leading off an inning, .351 (13-for-37) with runners in scoring position, and .371 (13-for-35) with two outs.

Honors:

Prior to Emory:

Transferred from Indiana University, where he was a redshirt freshman on the 2010 squad... Played on the Miami Palmetto Senior High School baseball team for four seasons, earning varsity letters during his junior and senior years... Was an all-Dade County honorable mention and an all-tournament first team member during his senior year... Helped his team to district championships from 2007-09, and to the State Regionals in 2009... Coached by Ray Noriega in high school... Also played soccer.
