Emory University sophomore Connor Dillman pitched six shutout innings during the Eagles’ 11-6 win at Berry College on Tuesday. Dillman allowed just three hits and two walks during his outing, while striking out a pair of batters, en route to earning the victory. The right-handed pitcher improved to 3-3 on the season with the win, while lowering his season ERA to a team-best 2.32. In addition, opponents are now batting just .223 against him this season, and he has recorded 50 strikeouts over 62 innings pitched, all team-best marks as well. Dillman and the Eagles went 2-1 during the week, and now stand at 17-14 for the year.
