Emory University sophomore third baseman Philip Maldari hit .500 with eight RBIs over five games last week, helping the 26th-ranked Eagles to a 4-1 record during the stretch.  Maldari registered 10 hits in 20 at bats, including seven doubles for a .850 slugging percentage.  In a 9-2 loss to Berry College on Wednesday, the right-handed hitter was one-for-two with an RBI double.  He then helped lead the Eagles to an 11-4 win over the University of Chicago in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, going four-for-five with two runs scored, three RBIs and a pair of doubles.  The third baseman added a pair of doubles and two RBIs in the late game against Chicago, going two-for-four with a run scored in a 10-1 Emory win.  Maldari wrapped up the week by going three-for-five during a 9-8 win over LaGrange College, picking up another pair of doubles, scoring two more runs and driving in two more as well.  Maldari is hitting .357 this season, and leads all Emory players with 11 doubles, 18 runs scored and 20 runs batted in.  The Eagles improved to 16-9 overall on the season.
