Emory University sophomore Wilson Morgan led the Eagles with a .545 batting average during the team’s four games last week. Morgan played in three of the four contests, including a pair of starts, and went six-for-11 with two runs scored, three runs batted in, a pair of doubles and three stolen bases on as many attempts. During a 9-4 win at Oglethorpe University on Wednesday, the left fielder went three-for-five with a run scored, a double and a career-best three stolen bases. The left-handed hitter also went three-for-five with a run scored in a 12-4 win over Maryville College on Sunday, driving in three runs in the game, including a pair on a first inning double. Morgan is batting .322 this season with 14 runs batted in and four stolen bases on five attempts. The Eagles went 3-1 last week to improve to 22-11 overall this season.
