Emory University sophomore Jackson Weeg allowed just one earned run in a pair of starts against 16th-ranked Case Western Reserve University, helping the second-ranked Eagles win the 2015 University Athletic Association Championship.  Weeg went 2-0 over the two games with a 0.71 ERA, allowing just two runs (one earned) on seven hits over 12.2 innings pitched, with 10 strikeouts and three walks.  On Monday, he allowed one earned run and two total on seven hits and a walk, while striking out four batters in a 6-2 win over the Spartans.  He followed that with seven one-hit innings of work on Saturday, shutting out Case Western Reserve with six strikeouts and a pair of walks.  For the season, the southpaw is 5-0 in five appearances with a 1.30 ERA and a .223 opponents’ batting average, with 24 strikeouts in 27.2 innings pitched.  Weeg and the Eagles shared the 2015 UAA Championship with Washington University (Mo.), finishing the week with a 6-2 record and improving to 12-5 overall.
