The Emory men's golf team is gearing up for its participation at this weekend's (Apr. 2-4) Golf Week Invitational.  The 54-hole tournament will be played on the 7,015-yard, par-72 El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort located in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida.

The Eagles, ranked fourth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek D-III Coaches Poll, are part of solid 11-team field which includes nine programs ranked among the top 15.  Among those teeing it up include No. 1 Guilford, No. 2 Methodist and No. 3 Huntingdon, No. 7 Greensboro and No. 8 Carnegie Mellon.

"Mission Inn is the most difficult course we have played in a few years and will be a great test for our group," Emory Head Coach John Sojoberg stated.  "It is another excellent field for us to continue to see where we stack up.  We have had a good 10 days of preparation and I am excited to see the progress this group has made." 

In its most recent outing, Emory registered a third-place finish out of 25 teams at the Jekyll Island Collegiate.  Junior Max Schwarz paced the team's effort and tied for second place out of 133 competitors with a three-round effort of four-under par 212.
