Chase Fawsett added a "double double" of his own, his seventh of the season and second straight, scoring 17 and gathering 12 boards. Fawsett finished the first half with two points and two rebounds after playing five minutes because of early foul trouble.

This is the third time this season that Fuller and Fawsett have had "double doubles" in the same game. The previous two times were both games against LaGrange College (Ga).

Emory has now won six straight home finales. The Eagles are 10-8 all time in their last home game of the year, and are 3-0 when playing Oglethorpe in their final home game of the season.

(Feb. 15) - Emory University was knocked off by Washington University (Mo.), 86-68.

Chase Fawsett led Emory in scoring for the fourth consecutive game, eighth time this season, with 16 points. He also had 10 rebounds for his sixth "double double" of the season.

Rashawn Allen led the Eagles with six assists. He boosted his season total to 103, bettering his personal high of 100 set last season.

This is the eighth time an Eagle has amassed 100 assists in a season. Allen is third Emory player ever to have two 100-assist seasons.

Allen needs seven more assists to tie Paul Schuliger for fourth place on the school's all-time list for season assists. Schuliger had 110 assists in 1990-91.

Allen needs 17 more assists to tie for third place with Paul Damm who had 120 assists in 1988-89.

Earlier this season, Emory beat Washington in St. Louis.

Fawsett, with 1,008 career points, needs 60 points to take sole possession of sixth place on the school's all-time career scoring list. Ahead of him is Nick Pastis (1989-93) with 1,067 points.

The school record for points in a game is 39 by Terry Gorsuch, ironically against Brandeis, on Jan. 20, 1989.

Fawsett was one field goal shy of the school record achieved three times, including Gorsuch in his record-setting game against Brandeis.

Emory led by six at halftime and by 11 early in the second half. The two teams were tied at 68 with 3:44 left.

The Eagles were without their second-leading scorer and rebounder, Chase Fawsett, who was out with the flu.
