Emory junior Julien Williams averaged 16.0
points and 4.5 rebounds in helping the Eagles to a split of a pair
of UAA road contests. In a 77-71 triumph over Carnegie
Mellon, Williams paced the team with a career-high 21 points while
contributing five rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.
He connected on nine-of-12 from the field, including two-of-three
from three-point range, in posting his first career contest of 20
or more points. In Sunday's 65-63 setback at Case Western,
Williams was second high on the squad in scoring with 11 points,
his eighth double-digit outing of the campaign, while snagging four
boards and registering two steals.
In the two games, the 6-foot-3 Williams shot 52.2 percent from the
floor (12-of-23) including 44.4 percent from beyond the arc
(4-of-9).
