Sophomore Jake Davis totaled a team-high 21 points in the
Eagles’ regular-season finale at Rochester on Saturday.
The 6-foot-5 Davis sank nine-of-13 from the field, including
two-of-three from three-point range en route to posting his
25th double-figure scoring game of the year and
11th of 20 or more points. His point total
represented the 11th time during the campaign that he
ranked as the team’s leading scorer. On the year,
he paced the team in scoring (19.0 ppg), rebounding (7.0 rpg) and
field goal percentage (.537), and his 475 total points enabled him
to tie for the No. 2 spot as the school’s most prolific
sophomore scorer.
