Emory's Jason Zimmerman was named by that Atlanta Tipoff Club as the recipient of the 2012-12 Whack Hyder Georgia Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. 

Zimmerman, along with other coaches and players throughout the state, received awards at the annual Naismith Awards Banquet held at the Georgia International Convention Center.
