Fleegle, a native of the Jennerstown, Pennsylvania, was a three-time member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll and a member of the Waynesburg Dean's List every semester. Following the 2015 season, he was named to the Capital One Division III Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team sponsored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
