Senior (2006):
Doan was a key member of the Emory squad during the 2006 season, starting all 17 games for the Eagles. Doan earned an All-UAA honorable mention for his play as a defensive midfielder during the season. He scored one goal on the year, coming against Washington University (Mo.), ranked 22nd in the nation when the teams met, leading the Eagles to a 1-0 win. The goal was the senior's second career game-winning goal in conference play, as three of his four career goals have come against UAA teams. He was a key member of the Eagles' defense as well, which compiled a 0.93 goals against average and seven shutouts during the year. Doan finished his career as an Eagle with four goals and four assists for 12 points.
Junior (2005):
In his first year on the team, Tai Doan appeared in 16 games for the Eagles, starting 14 of them. The junior midfielder scored three goals and 10 points. He added four assists during the season, the fourth-best total on the team. Doan scored the game-winning goal and added an assist later in a 4-0 win against conference-rival New York University. He took 23 shots during the season, 11 of which were on goal.
