Senior (2008):

Laycock emerged as one of the top goalkeepers in Division III during the 2008 season, his first season as the Eagles' full-time goalkeeper.  Laycock earned spots on the NSCAA/ Adidas All-South Region and the All-University Athletic Association Second Teams, the first postseason honors of his career.  The senior finished the year ranked eighth in Division III with a 0.47 goals-against average, and 22nd with a 0.857 save percentage.  Laycock set the Emory single-season records in goals-against average and wins (16), in addition to setting the third-best single season mark in save percentage and shutouts (11).  Laycock also recorded an assist during the Eagles 3-0 win over Covenant College on September 12th.  He will end his career with a school-record 0.46 goals-against average over the course of 21 games.  Laycock was also named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Second Team, and the Academic All-District First Team, for his performances both on the field and in the classroom.

Junior (2007):

Laycock played parts of two games in goal for the Eagles, totaling just over 50 minutes.  The junior transfer from Mercer University (Ga.) made one save, and was part of two Emory shutouts.

Transferred from Mercer University (Ga.), where he played one season on the soccer team for the NCAA Division I program... Played four seasons for the Westmister School's soccer team, where he served as the team's captain during his senior season... Named to the All-Area first team in 2004... Was coached by Scott Snyder in high school... Also played football, swam and ran cross country in high school.
