Senior (2008):

Howie finished his senior season second on the team with nine assists, and tied for third on the team with 17 points. He finished the season ranked 87th in Division III with 0.42 assists per game.  Howie, who played in all 19 Emory games during the season, added on four goals during the campaign, including a game-winning goal during the Eagles' win over the then-25th-ranked University of Mary Washington on September 7th.  The midfielder recorded three-point (one goal, one assist) games against Mary Washington, Guilford College on August 30th, and Piedmont College on September 24th.  Howie finished his Emory career with 25 assists, the eighth-most in school history.  He also recorded 14 goals and 53 points over his four-year, 66-game career.

Senior (2007):

Howie recorded a career year for the Eagles in 2007, setting career highs in each of the major offensive categories.  He finished the season with five goals and seven assists for 17 points, each the third-best mark on the team during the year.  Howie's three game-winning goals was the second-best total on the team during the year, including back-to-back game winners against University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents Washington University (Mo.) and Case Western Reserve University (Ohio).  The midfielder also assisted on the game-winning goal against New York University.  Out of the 16 shots that he took, 12 were on goal for a team-best .750 shots on goal percentage.  He recorded a career-best five points during Emory's 8-0 win over the University of the South (Tenn.), scoring two goals and an assist in the win.  Howie started 15 games for the Eagles, playing in 17 total matches during the season. 

Junior (2006):

Howie started 14 of the 13 games he played in for the Eagles during his junior season.  The midfielder registered three goals and four assists for a total of 10 points during the campaign, the fourth-best total on the team during the season.  His shining moment of the season came against Christopher Newport University (Va.), when he scored the ‘Golden Goal' for Emory in a 2-1 overtime win.  He continued to produce in clutch situations for the Eagles throughout the season, picking up the game-winning goal and an assist against Clayton State University (Ga.), and the game-winning assist in a 1-0 win over Lynchburg College (Va.).  Howie also had a two-assist game against the seventh-ranked College of New Jersey.    

Sophomore (2005):

In his first year on the team Howie scored two goals and added five assists for a total of nine points.  Against Oglethorpe University, Howie scored a goal and two assists to help the Eagles to a 6-0 win.  The junior midfielder played in 16 games for the Eagles, starting one.  Nine of Howie's ten shots during the season were on goal, giving him a team-best 90% shot-on-goal percentage.

Prior to Emory:

Played for four seasons on the Savannah Country Day soccer team, serving as the team captain during his junior and senior seasons... Scored 100 goals and 81 assists over his four seasons on the team, helping the squad to State Championships in 2002 and 2004... Coached by Peter Foley in high school... Also played for the Concorde Fire club team from 2000-04, where he was coached by Masood Roushandel... Played basketball and cross country in high school as well.
